UConn Meets NCAA's APR Standard In All 24 Sports
STORRS, Conn. (March 1, 2006) - The University of Connecticut meets the standards in all 24 of its sports programs in the latest NCAA Academic Progress Rate (APR) report which was released on Wednesday afternoon. The report is based upon a compilation of data from the 2003-04 and 2004-05 academic years. The APR is intended as a four-year rate of measure, aggregating four years of data to produce one rate. The first full four-year data set will include academic years 2003-04, 2004-05, 2005-06, and 2006-07 and be released two years from now.

SAAC To Sponsor Book Drives At Basketball Games on February 25 And 26
STORRS, Conn. (February 14, 2006) - The University of Connecticut Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be sponsoring Book Drives as the Saturday, Feb. 25 women’s basketball game against Marquette and the Sunday, Feb. 26 men’s basketball game vs. Villanova. Both games will be played at the Harry A. Gampel Pavilion.
