The
Mark Edward Freitas Ice Forum is the home to UConn's men's and women's varsity
ice hockey program. In addition, there are many skating opportunities available.
Admission to women’s ice
hockey games is free. Men’s home games ticket prices are $6 for reserved
all ages, $5 for general admission adult, $3 for general admission senior and
youth, $2 for UConn students with a valid ID and groups of 20 or more are $2
each.
Tickets are available through the Online
Ticketing Center at UConnHuskies.com.
Tickets are also available at the Division of Athletics Ticket Office in the
Hugh S. Greer Field House in Storrs and at the gate on game day. The ticket
office accepts only
cash or checks on day of game.

The forum is host to many
different types of programs.
Skating Lessons
are open to the public and operate in three seasonal sessions.
Fall Sunday afternoons: September-November
Spring Sunday afternoons: January-March
Summer: Monday or
Wednesday Nights June-August
All ages and skill levels
are welcome. Lessons are taught by USFSA Professionals who utilize the USFSA
Basic Skills Program.
Minimum age is four years
old. Parents may enroll, but must skate in their own group. Children must take
lessons without a parent or guardian and use single runner skates which are
available for rent.
Helmets are recommended
but not required for all participants.
Public Skating
General Skate sessions are
open to the public. Admission is $5, rental skates are $4 per pair. Skate
sharpening is available at $5 per pair while you wait. Schedule is subject to
change due to weather and other conflicts. Check by phone before leaving home at
(860) 486-3808. Holiday General Skate sessions do sellout, avoid problems by
arriving at least 20 minutes prior to your session.

Northeastern
Connecticut Icedogs utilize this facility as their Home Rink. The Icedogs
provide teams for ages beginner to 16 years old and compete in CHC sanctioned
competition
High School Hockey
E.O.
Smith High School Hockey Co-op (Tolland High School and Windham High School)
practices here and hosts their home games. The season runs from December-March.
