(March 7, 2006) - Senior Abbey VanDeusen (Fayetteville, N.Y.) scored the fourth hat trick of her career and senior goalie Kristen Haldeman (Malvern, Pa.) tallied 11 saves, but the University of Connecticut women’s lacrosse team fell to Temple, 11-10, Tuesday afternoon. With the loss, the Huskies fall to 0-2 on the season, while the Owls improve to 1-3.

Women's Lacrosse Drops Opener to Yale In Double Overtime, 6-5
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (March 1, 2006) - NEW HAVEN, Conn. (March 1, 2006) - Lauren Taylor’s goal with 33 seconds left in the second overtime thwarted the Huskies’ four-goal comeback as the University of Connecticut women’s lacrosse team fell to Yale, 6-5, Wednesday afternoon at Johnson Field. Abbey VanDeusen (Fayetteville, N.Y.) led the charge for the Huskies (0-1) with two goals, including one down the stretch, while goalie Kristen Haldeman made eight key saves, but it was not enough to overtake the Bulldogs (1-0) and their early lead.

Defending ECAC Champs Ready To Begin 2006 Women's Lacrosse Season Wednesday At Yale
STORRS, Conn. (February 28, 2006) - Coming off the heels of the most successful season in Connecticut women’s lacrosse history, the Huskies are ready to continue where they left off and contend for the BIG EAST Championship and compete on a national level. This time a year ago, 11 seniors began the same quest and succeeded, claiming the program’s first ECAC Championship, reaching a national ranking of No. 15 and amassing a 12-5 record by season’s end. A slightly smaller, but no less dedicated, group of five seniors will lead this year's UConn squad, as the Huskies open the season Wednesday at Yale with a 3:00 p.m. contest.

Tracy Mullaney Named All-American
STORRS, Conn. (May 24, 2005) - Senior Tracy Mullaney (Cockeysville, Md.) has been named to the All-America third team by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association. She becomes the second Husky to ever garner All-America recognition, joining Pam Lowie, who was named to the IWLCA’s third team in 2002.
