Foreman Scores For Huskies In ECAC Women's Track Championship
BOSTON, Mass. (March 5, 2006) - The University of Connecticut woman’s track team took seventh place in the ECAC Championships on Sunday afternoon at the Reggie Lewis Track in Boston. The team was led by freshman Jessica Foreman (Wayland, Mass.) who scored in two events for the Huskies. With the exception of the NCAA Championships, this meet was the last of the Huskies’ indoor season.

Highsmith Leads Team After First Day Of ECAC Track Championships
BOSTON, Mass. (March 4, 2006) - Sophomore Tamara Highsmith (East Haven, Conn.) garnered all eight of the University of Connecticut women’s track team points in the first day of the ECAC Championships on Saturday. Highsmith placed second in the pentathlon with 3,708 points.

Women's Track Scores in Nearly Every Event As They Win The New England Championships
BOSTON, Mass. (February 25, 2006) - The University of Connecticut women’s track team won the New England Championships on Saturday with 181.63 points, 65.83 more points than second place Northeastern and 115.33 more points than third place Williams College. This is the 24th time that the Huskies have won the New Englands since Head Coach Bill Morgan has been a member of the coaching staff.

Women's Track In First Place After First Day Of New England Championships
BOSTON, Mass. (February 24, 2006) - The University of Connecticut women’s track team currently stands in first place after the first day of the New England Championships. The team tallied 48 points on the day. The team is currently led by sophomore Tamara Highsmith (East Haven, Conn.). Highsmith took first place in the preliminaries of the 55-meter hurdles as well as winning the pentathlon. She totaled 3,657 points in the five events. The competition continues Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m.

Jessica Foreman Captures BIG EAST Individual Title To Lead Women's Track and Field
AKRON, Ohio (February 19, 2006) - Freshman Jessica Foreman (Wayland, Mass.) captured the BIG EAST individual title in the 60-meter dash as the University of Connecticut women's track team finished in eighth place at the BIG EAST Indoor Track Championships. Foreman finished in first place with a time of 7.43 and provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships.
