Coleman and Bransfield Take Home BIG EAST Accolades on Final Day of Swimming and Diving Championships
EAST MEADOW, N.Y. (February 18, 2006) - Sophomore Allison Coleman (New Canaan, Conn.) and diving head coach John Bransfield were recognized for their achievements this season by being named Co-Outstanding Diver of the Year and Women’s Diving Coach of the Year, respectively. This announcement came on the final day of competition at the 2006 BIG EAST Championships.
The men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams wrapped up competition Saturday evening at the Nassau Aquatics Center with the men finishing the meet in seventh place with 272.5 points and the women capturing sixth place with a total of 315 points.

Swimming and Diving Victorious at Army in Final Dual Meet of the Season
WEST POINT, N.Y. (February 4, 2006) - Both the men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams closed out their dual meet season with wins over Army Saturday. The men’s team edged out the Black Knights 153-147 to finish at 7-1, while the women dominated 221-79 ending their season at 5-2-1.
