Tennis Teams Both Fall to Coastal Carolina
STORRS, Conn. (March 7, 2006) - Freshman Jaclyn Shapiro (Deerfield, Ill.) won the University of Connecticut women’s tennis team’s lone match of the day as the Huskies fell, 6-1, to Coastal Carolina on Tuesday in Hilton Head, S.C. The UConn men’s team fell by a 7-0 score to the Chanticleers. The Husky men fall to 1-5 on the spring while the Husky women dip to 0-6. The Chanticleer women remain perfect at 11-0 while the Costal Carolina men are now 8-3.

Men's Tennis Beats Stonehill, 7-1
HILTON HEAD, S.C. (March 6, 2006) - The University of Connecticut men’s tennis team picked up its first win of the season by defeating Stonehill College, 7-1, on Monday afternoon in Hilton Head, S.C. The Huskies now stand at 1-4 on the year while the Skyhawks dropped their spring season opener.

Men's and Women's Tennis Both Beaten by Stony Brook
HANOVER, N.H. (February 26, 2006) - Both the University of Connecticut men's and women's tennis teams lost matches on Sunday afternoon to Stony Brook. UConn's men's team lost by a 7-0 score to drop to 0-4 on the spring while the women lost 6-1 to the Seawolves to fall to 0-5. The Stony Brook men and women now stand at 3-3 and 3-1, respectively. The competitions were played at Dartmouth's Boss Tennis Center in Hanover, N.H.

HANOVER, N.H. (February 25, 2006) - The University of Connecticut men’s tennis team lost to Dartmouth by a 7-0 score on Saturday night at the Boss Tennis Center in Hanover, N.H. The Big Green ups its mark to 6-1 on the spring with the win while the Huskies dip to 0-3.

Men's Tennis Loses to Army and Lehigh
WEST POINT, N.Y. (February 12, 2006) - Freshman Aaron Ribchinsky (Old Lyme, Conn.) posted a victory at number six singles but the University of Connecticut men’s tennis team fell by a 6-1 score to Army on Sunday afternoon at the U.S. Military Academy’s Lichtenberg Tennis Center in West Point, N.Y. Earlier in the day, UConn dropped a 7-0 decision to Lehigh at West Point as the Huskies fell to 0-2 on the spring season.
