Volunteer Assistant
First Season
WNEC '08
Kayte Devine joins the University of Connecticut lacrosse coaching staff as a
volunteer assistant while pursuing her master’s degree in sport management at
UConn.
Devine graduated from Western New England College in 2008 with a bachelor of
science and art in Sport Management. She was a four-year starter on the WNEC
lacrosse squad and left as the record-holder in goals scored in a single-game,
single-season and career.
The team captain in her final season, Devine was acknowledged as the MVP in 2006
and 2008. She was the New England Women’s Lacrosse Alliance Rookie of the Year
in 2006 and earned first-team honors in each of the following three seasons.
In 2008, she earned a spot on the Commonwealth Coast Conference second-team. She
received ECAC All-New England second-team honors following the 2007 season.
