Kate Tellers resumes her post as an assistant coach with the University of Connecticut women’s tennis team for her second season. Tellers has been a coach with various club and high school teams for six years.

Tellers was a four-year letterwinner at the University of Oklahoma where she earned a pair of Big 12 Champion titles in both singles and doubles play. The two-year captain, was an ITA Academic All-American in 1998 after receiving conference academic accolades in each of her four seasons.

She graduated from Oklahoma in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in heath/sports science and social science. Prior to her collegiate playing experience, Tellers was a three-time Arizona State Champion while attending Canyon Del Oro High School in Tucson.

The former Kate Dunlevy, is married to Shawn Tellers and has three children: Jake, Mara Faith and Will.
