Volleyball Dominates West Virginia, 3-0, On Senior Day

STORRS, Conn. (November 13, 2005) - Seniors Heather Ashley (Smithsburg, Md.), Megan Crawley (Georgetown, Texas) and Jenny Neelands (Gainesville, Fla.) closed out their UConn careers with a 3-0 (30-24, 30-19, 30-25) victory over West Virginia on Sunday afternoon in Gampel Pavilion. With the win, UConn wraps up the 2005 season with a 15-13 overall record and a 7-7 mark against BIG EAST competition.

Volleyball Defeats Pittsburgh, 3-1

STORRS, Conn. (November 11, 2005) - The University of Connecticut women's volleyball team defeated Pittsburgh, 3-1 (25-30, 30-25, 30-27, 30-28) on Friday evening in Gampel Pavilion. With the win, the Huskies improve to 14-13 overall and 6-7 against BIG EAST opponents while Pittsburgh is now 16-10 overall and 9-4 in the BIG EAST.
